The news of the sudden demise of Bollywood actress Sridevi (54) has left India in a deep state of shock. The Padma Shri awardee had a career which expanded for over four decades.
The actor, wife of producer Boney Kapoor, died late in the night reportedly due to cardiac arrest in Dubai, where she had gone along with her family to attend her nephew Mohit Marwah’s wedding.
Sridevi was called the first female superstar of Bollywood and had worked in over 250 films in various languages.
