SNN:- A 22 year youth from Navi Mumbai has been booked under POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) allegedly for sexually assaulting a minor girl of 17 years of age under false promise of marriage.
According to police, the accused, Laxman Suryavanshi (22), lives in Rabale Katkari where the girl too resides. The duo were in relationship since three years.
The complainant alleges that Laxman Suryavanshi had physical relationship with her since two years on the promise of marriage. However, whenever she asked him of marriage he dodged the issue. Since the last few months, the accused simply refused to marry her following which the victim approached the cops.
