SALUTE TO WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
Sir,
Let me first of all congratulate the entire team of Stree for bringing out this new tabloid. We are hopeful and sure that this tabloid will go a long way in empowering women.
Women are our strength. By not empowering women, the output, progress and the efficiency of the nation gets reduced. There are two reasons for non empowerment of women. First, they are not proactive in exerting themselves to show their strength. Secondly, they are not adequately motivated to come out and use their strength. We need to put strategy in action where we try to use both strategies as per situations.
Tabloids like Stree can contribute immensely and can help in bringing women on a common platform. Through Stree women can be motivated and encouraged to talk and share on subjects which are relevant for women. Their exposure will be replicated at other places as well.

NEED TO MAKE BETTER USE OF VACATION
Sir,
Children every year get a long summer vacation after particular academic year gets over. Students do need a break from studies and exams but not such a long one. A month is enough for students to relax and enjoy.
Schools offer around two months vacation which is way too big for students. This valuable time is being wasted in playing all day long. Rather schools can introduce some curricular activities, career courses, learning new sports, etc. This will equally benefit the students and parents as well.
Through your esteemed newspaper, I would like to request the schools to offer one month vacation and for another month introduce extra curricular activities. Don’t make children study, but engage them in some activities so that children don’t waste their time in playing all day long. Also, offer some career guidance beneficial to students.
