“The HEART (Helping to Educate Associate Rehabilitate & Teach) Foundation has always joined hands to bring about a change in the society through its various initiatives. Through the SEED initiative, we had over 10000 students attend the exhibition last year and hope to double the same this year. We want to put across to every child the seriousness of not only planting trees but also being more eco-friendly which literally means being earth-friendly and not cause harm to the environment. One can engage in eco-friendly habits or practices by being more conscious of how we use resources. We would promote planting of seeds, reduce waste and conserve water etc through our ongoing seminars in schools and colleges in the future,” said Dr. Jayakar Ellis, President of HEART Foundation.
“To mark the 10th anniversary of the Exhibition, we will be having “Heart 2016 – Beats For All” in aid of PACT which would be a war of bands. The program would have around 35 bands participating and eminent singers from various cities of Navi Mumbai, Thane, Mumbai, Pune etc, would not only compete but also spread the message of Love, Joy and Peace through the Universal language of Music on all the three days” said Keyoor Karadkhedkar, who heads the music division of the foundation – BEATS (Bringing Entertainment and Team Spirit).
